I heard this thingy on NPR yesterday about stores that will no longer offer plastic bags as of this year (Whole Foods, IKEA) and what manufacturers are doing to keep up with the "green is the new black" trend among, well, everyone. They're producing degradable plastic bags, which is exactly what I picked up the last time I needed trash bags but wanted to stop using the Glad ones I'd been buying for years. Economists like talking about the gross domestic product (GDP) because it is a big melting pot. But it ’s misleading. All we have to do is look one by one at the parts that make up GDP and we will see the real trends.

Real world advertising in games isn't anything new, and the trend is likely to increase. A new report claims advertising dollars will more than double in the next five year.

As if we did not have enough negative news regarding the current housing debacle and the accompanying mortgage crisis, Goldman Sachs analysts came out with a report stating that 2 trillion dollars of loan reductions could be possible and could initiate an ensuing credit crunch.
